Are you searching for the best as well as the cheapest web hosting provider for your website?
If yes then you are at the right place. I have used multiple web hosting providers as well as spent huge amount of time comparing different web hosting providers to find the best ones.
In this article, I will compare only the options that I have personally used so that I will be able to give an honest review. Let’s start
Web hosting from GoDaddy –
I would never recommend anyone to go with GoDaddy. It fails on all parameters be it cost, customer support, performance, or user-friendly interface of the website. The only reason GoDaddy is popular is because it spends huge amount of money on advertisements and therefore is popular among beginners. Let’s compare few parameters
a) Cost – GoDaddy is most expensive among all web hosting providers.
b) Customer support – customer support was not at all user friendly. Whenever I ran into problem and contacted them, their customer support representatives will always say that problem is not from their side ( which actually was) and will tell me to contact my website administrator which was me only.
c) Site performance – Even as GoDaddy is most expensive, it provides the worst performance among all. Your website will take forever to load on their shared hosting.
d) User-friendly interface – User interface of GoDaddy is worst. At first glance, you will not be able to find anything. Sometimes you will have to google to find things.
Another thing I want to share, that I experienced with GoDaddy. Firstly I would never recommend anyone to buy domain from GoDaddy. But if you decide to do so keep this in mind.
When you search a domain on GoDaddy, they will show you an inflated price. Do not buy at that time. Later they will send you a mail with the reduced price which is the actual price to buy that domain. I feel this is cheating. Why don’t they show the real price the first time itself?
Anyways that was an honest review from my side of Godaddy. Let’s move on to next option.
Web hosting from Namecheap –
Namecheap is one of the most widely used web hosting provider. It provides the best services at reasonable rates. From my own experience, I found Namecheap to be really good. Let’s compare on different parameters
a) Cost – Namecheap is not too costly as well as not too cheap. I feel their cost is justified for the excellent services they provide.
b) Customer support – I found Namecheap as best in customer support. I give customer support really high priority because no matter how good you are you will run into problems while hosting your website. At that time a good customer support really helps. Especially if you are a beginner.
Namecheap’s customer support was really quick in giving responses and representatives were also really polite and user-friendly. If the problem is from their side they will solve it themselves and will let you know. Nice right!
c) Site performance – I found the site performance on their shared hosting to be good.
d) User friendly interface – Namecheap has one of the best user interface.
Even if you are a beginner , you will not find any issues navigating their website. Everything in their dashboard is self explanatory and easy to navigate.
Web hosting from Hostinger –
Hostinger is the cheapest among all web hosting providers in the market. Now you might think if it is cheap its services will also be of low quality but no. Hostinger provides one of the best services even at such low price. Let’s compare
a) Cost – Hostinger is the cheapest option available in the market.
b) Customer support – Even at such low prices hostinger provides excellent customer support services. Most of the time they will reply you in mail within an hour or two.
If problem is from their end they will solve it themselves and will let you know which is really helpful.
c) Site performance – I found no issues in site performance and it was good.
d) User friendly interface – User interface of hostinger is good and user friendly. Even if you are stuck somewhere they have a lot of articles written on their website which will help you out.
Conclusion –
Namecheap scores over Hostinger in customer support but Hostinger scores over Namecheap in terms of cost. So this is how you can decide
For beginners –
If you are a beginner I will recommend you go with Namecheap. The reason is because it provides best customer support.
As a beginner If you do not have much idea about domains and hosting then you will require customer support a lot and that is where Namecheap is best. Even if you are not a beginner and require customer support a lot then Namecheap is for you.
Later when you are a bit experienced and know some of the things and are confident enough then you can move on to more cheaper options like Hostinger.
For experienced professionals –
If you are experienced enough and just looking for a cheap web hosting provider then Hostinger is for you. It is cheapest and provides one of the best services.
